At L’auravie Beauty we named our 90 minute signature facial ‘The French Facial’ due to the extended facial massage element that sets it apart.
As is French tradition in anti-aging beauty rituals, the emphasis on massage and lymphatic drainage, not only relaxes, but sculpts, drains and tones the skin naturally. The result is firmer, brighter and more radiant skin, making our facials a true investment in long-term skin health and rejuvenation.
With over 45 minutes of intuitive massage techniques within the 90 minute facial, you will be left both looking and feeling radiant, refreshed and reconnected.

Your facial begins with a detailed consultation about your lifestyle, skin type and desired results.

We double cleanse the skin to enhance the results of the facial.
The first cleanse removes surface build up from makeup, SPF, pollution and excess oil.
The second cleanse purifies the skin as the product can work more deeply so removing impurities, sweat and dead skin cells.
Your skin is now perfectly prepped for treatment.

Once the skin is thoroughly cleansed, we can assess its true condition.
With the use of a UVC lamp we can understand the hydration, tone, texture and any areas of concern to design a treatment that is completely tailored to your skin needs.

A gentle exfoliation removes dead skin cells, clears congestion and allows your skin to absorb the deeper benefits of massage, masks and finishing products and so help to renew the skin’s surface.

The main focus of the The French Facial is the facial lymphatic drainage massage. The benefits of this include:

A moisture mask is applied to the skin to boost hydration, brighten and smooth texture whilst preparing the skin for the targeted products that are applied at the end of the facial.

Once the mask is removed, a skin specific serum will be stippled into your skin followed by targeting eye and lip creams. A moisturiser will be the last product applied to seal in all products applied locking in the nourishment.

Cryotherapy is the final stage of the facial and is used to calm and soothe the skin reducing any redness from exfoliation, extractions or active treatments.
The shock of the cold will tighten and firm the skin, locking in hydration and moisture from the targeted products as well as boosting circulation and encouraging your skin to glow!

The facial ends with a discussion of the skin analysis completed during the facial and a review with how the skin responded to treatment. Specific after care advice will be offered as well as ongoing support with your skin care journey.
